Rick Mianulli-We Clean Ice
Rick Mianulli, Owner

Clean Ice is an Ice machine cleaning company. We specialize in cleaning and sterilizing ice machines, because of this we are able to offer very competitive pricing.

We do provide ice machine repair on a case by case basis.

Rick Mianulli its founder spent nearly 20 years working in the medical sales industry helping orthopedic surgeons put arms and legs back together. In 2009 Rick attended a medical seminar at a hotel where most of the attendees fell ill shortly after the event. The culprit was found to be a bacteria called Listeria, not from the food that was consumed there, but from contaminated ice. The source? A contaminated ice machine. From that experience, Clean Ice was created. After much research Rick discovered that Listeria, can be 1,000 times harder to eliminate if it is living in a protective biofilm. “Biofilm” is the slime that forms in dirty ice machines. This biofilm can be a continual source of contamination if not completely removed. Rick saw a need in his own community for the services he provides. He started cleaning ice machines for county fire and police facilities when his company was asked to provide a detailed ice cleaning service. Our company’s reputation for paying close attention to detail has caused a rapid growth in our client base. On the average it will take us 2 to 3 hours to clean and sterilize an ice machine because we address all the internal and external components that collect mold in the ice making process.  Other “ice machine companies” will charge a great deal for this service and only run solution through the machine which does not address the internal components that collect mold. Our team takes before and after pictures upon request with every service for your records and guarantees passing inspection. Along with government facilities, we also service hotels, schools, medical facilities, restaurants, nursing homes, corporate break rooms and warehouses. Our list is growing every day!
